Preperations are feverishly underway for my road trip from Townsville to Phillip Island for the Moto GP. "Carn STONER"

Taking two weeks to ride there and a week to get home. For some reason the lads I'm riding with(TBSMC)thought it would be a good idea to visit as many pubs as we could along the way. I'll be riding a VTR 250 (not my bike of choice, just all that was on offer as I don't have a bike yet) and as this will be first trip on a bike, I'm sure my arms, back and arse will feel the full brunt of 3 weeks in the saddle.

The Moto GP itself will be a photo extravaganza, with a plethora of photo op's (Bring on the Paddock Girls...oh and the bikes too!), not to mention the cool Towns, pubs and people we'll see along the way. Camera (Canon 30D) and lens (70-200 f/2.8 IS)is preped and another Cf card is on the way to ensure enough storage. Should be a trip to remember!!
